We left our boat here under care of the dockmaster while we went home to prepare for the Transatlantic crossing

We purchased dock springs at the chandlery in Arguineguin to protect dock lines from the surge that we were warned about, although we did not experience any surge ourselves while we were onboard.. 

Well stocked chandlery 6 miles away.

Convenient anchorage with good holding on the sandy spots. 

The marina is very accomodating allowing dinghies to dock opposite the fuel dock.

The Spar supermarket is small but well stocked. 

The marina is extremely friendly and receptive to dinghies docking on the end of the face dock opposite the fuel dock.

We rented a car from Amurga Rent a Car and went on a magificent road trip excursion up the windy mountain roads to the mountain top town of Tejeda.

Excellent large supermarket 2 miles from the marina. 

We rented a Fiat Panda for several days at a very reasonable daily price daily from Amurga Rent a Car. We toured the whole island, visited the beach, and got provisions and parts needed.

They delivered the car to the marina, meeting me opposite the marina office to complete papaerwork. We left the car opposite the marina office when we were done. 

When I flew back in a month later, they met me at the airport with a car. Before I sailed away, I once again left the car opposite the marina office for them to collect. Such nice and easy going people to deal with.

Small but well stocked supermarket. 

The only eating establishment in walking distance. Food is good. Service was a bit slow on a few visits.

Very convenient parking garage close to the beach. 

After an afternoon of searching with the rental car, we were finaly able to exchange our campingaz bottle at the gas depot to the left of the DISA petrol station.
