Uvala Soline (Anchorage)
Also known as Kanalic. A nice secure and popular anchorage, though typically 9 -12 meters deep. I found about 8 meters midway down the north shore.
Easy dinghy ride to the supermarket and facilities at the Veruda marina.
There are several Uvala Solines in Croatia to add to the confusion.

Bagnole (Anchorage)
Another popular, well protected anchorage.
I just motored through here to take a look and moved on to Uvala Soline for the night, but others have highly recommended this anchorage.

Pula (Excursion)
Pula is a fascinating place to visit with it's well preserved amphitheatre and historic waterfront.
We caught the bus here from Piescana Uvala where we had docked the dinghy.
On the way in, the bus dropped us just beyond the colloseum.

Franciscan Convent (Point of Interest)
Inside the church we were thoroughly entertained by a barefooted tourist playing amazing music on the piano. I am not sure if the monks would have approved, but I was certainly moved by the experience.

One of the most interesting museum displays of ancient sculpture in this building, and it was totally free.
