Narrow Channel (Hazard)
This channel is narrow and shallow and the current runs fast.
You just need to be careful especially when there are other boats in the channel.

Telascica Park
A picturesque and well protected national park,
One could spend a week cruising from one beautiful anchorage to the other.
Several bays are equipped with mooring buoys which are usually occupied.
Apparently the price is the same if you pick up a mooring or anchor: The fee for the park is 50 Kn (€7) per person per day.

Uvala Magrovica (Anchorage)
Excellent holding in mud with good, all round protection. The bay shoals gently to the north, so you can pick your depth.
There was a general consensus in the anchorage that Taverna Goro offers the best food in the Croatian islands.

Taverna Goro (Restaurant)
The owner Goran, the chef Valerie and all the staff speak excellant English and make one feel at home.
The food is excellent.
I really enjoyed the rump steak (ramsteak).

Uvala Mir (Mooring)
State park moorings are included in the park entry fee of 50 Kun per person per day., if you are lucky enough to get one.
Otherwise, you will need to anchor in Uvala Magrovika at the head of the bay to the north.
A nice protected area.

Saharun beach (Beach)
The Saharun beach is a beautiful cove of white sand surrounded by pine woods. The water is waist deep up to 200 m from the beach. A small snack bar sells sells drinks and sandwiches.
Naturism is practiced almost everywhere except the beaches near by villages.Nude beach.
Howard [ Just Imagine ] 01-Feb-2009Aug 2009, dropped anchor within the mooring field. Patrol boat came at 7pm, collected 110 kuna for my 36 foot sailboat.

Veli Rat
Marina wanted 50 kuna to stop for an hour to visit the grocery store. Decided to shop elsewhere.
