Walk further up the road from the watermills at the lower falls, about 25 minutes to the second ferry dock above the falls.
This is a four hour ferry trip that is very worthwhile and cost about 130Kn per person.
The ferry stops for about 20 minutes at a monastery on an island in the middle of the lake.
It then continues to the upper falls of Roski Slap.
You stop at Roski Slap for about 2 hours to see more watermills and other exciting things.
They serve a wonderful local lunch at Roski Slap consisting of homemade Dalmation ham, Cheese, Bread, Wine and tomatoes.
There are interesting water jet pools around the eating area where diners cool off by immersing themselves in these gushing wells at the bottom of the waterfalls.
On my second visit to Skradin, we engaged Ivan from the wine bar in Skradin to take us by road to Roski Slap for lunch. The "taxi" fare was about €90 and we had to pay park entry (80 Kn I think)as well as the cost of the lunch, but it was a lot of fun.
Ivan drove us there and waited while we had lunch. We asked him to join us but he declined.
