This is the Riviera of Hvar. Lovely secluded anchorages and beaches. Tourists ferry regularly from Hvar town.

Pakleni (Anchorage)

A popular anchorage in the cut between Marinkovac and Planikovac islands and a good place to leave the boat to visit Hvar town, 1 mile away by dinghy.

Holding is OK, but better on the white sand than the weed. Make sure you are dug in.

Rocky beaches directly south of the anchorage were distinctly nude in June but much less so in August.

Beach bar serves lunch, and Antonios restaurant serves lunch and dinner. There are a few mooring balls provided by Antonios for the use of customers.

Jerolim Island (Naturist)

Jerolim island is directly opposite Hvar town and the whole island is designated as naturist although, this was far more evident in June than in August.

Nude rocky beaches on both north and south bays and also on the western shore.

I anchored in the north bay just outside the swimming buoys and dinghied ashore.

Nice lunchtime restaurant with a late afternoon happy hour.

The island becomes deserted after sunset as everyone ferries back to Hvar town.

I anchored deep in the head of the bay to the left.

Carpe Diem Beach (Beach)

This is the trendy chillout beach of the famous Carpe Diem restaurant in Hvar town. Ferries bring the chill out set from Hvar town to hang out in hammocks and overstuffed pillowed settees while listening to cool house music and sipping exotic drinks.
