A great stop for transiting yachts. Town is a short walk from harbor and has much to offer as a small town. Many great restaurants, including the yacht club, and all the other amenities you could need. The vista from the harbor is of Victorian homes on the hillside. There is a great bike trail which connects to Sandy Hook and the ocean beaches or the towns of the bayshore and even connecting to Freehold, 20 something miles inland! Access to NYC couldn't be easier, ferry, bus, train are all available.
The Yacht Club members are very friendly to visiting yachts.
