Lakka (Anchorage)
A great, secure anchorage and a nice town with good restaurants. We anchored on sand in the south of the bay near to the town dock.
Beware the water tanker that anchors off the town and pumps water into the town cistern.

Gaios (Town Dock)
Entrance to Gaios from the north is a little difficult to pick out (ferries give a good clue)Channel gets quite shallow as you round the bend.No more than 2.8 metres in places. Town quay well laid out,no charges.Holding good,very sheltered
Andy and Jude [ Betty Blue ] 08-Jun-2012A well protected port in an attractive town setting with good restaurants. It gets very crowded at the end of the day, and we observed some flaring tempers as boats try to squeeze their way into the crowded dock. Lovely spot though and should not be missed.
