Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn)
Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) is an unusual and beautiful sand spit sticking out of the south coast of Brac island.
The beach is very popular. Tourists throng to this amazing beach scape of tiny white pebbles with the mountainous landscape on Brac behind.
The corner on the left is a popular naturist beach.

Anchorage (Anchorage)
The swimming bouys restrict anchoring in the beautiful, protected shallow water to the west of the horn. We ended up anchoring in 38 feet outside the bouys.
Because of the depth of the water and the proximity of other boats around us, I stayed onboard, but Jayne swam ashore in the 22C water, determined to sunbathe on the end of this amazing spit of land.

Moorings (Mooring)
We approached the eastern cove when we first arrived, but were quickly accosted by a boat man offering us a mooring, saying that anchoring was only permitted on the west side. Since we were only planning on a lunch stop we declined the mooring without asking the price, which I am sure would be quite steep.
We later found that the only available anchorage was in deep water, so if you plan to stay the night, you might consider the mooring option.

Nude Beach (Beach)
The north west corner of the beach and the smaller coves to the west were all predominantly nude beaches.
