The base lift for the goldola to Erice. A long walk from the waterfront but one needs to find bus info or taxi to this point. This ski lift type, gondola takes you 3 Km up the slope to an altitude of 700m above sea level in about 11 minutes. Amazing views on the way up and beautiful old city and churches on top. I went up by gondola and caught the bus down from Erice. Highly recommended excursion.
