Ramla Bay (Beach)

Calypso's cave (Point of Interest)

Just above Ramla beach is a cave reputed to be where Calypso kept Odysseus as a sex slave for 10 years.

The cave is interesting, but I would have picked a more comfortable environment for a love nest :-)

We wandered from here into the pretty town of Xaghra and then ended up walking miles down the hill to the main road to catch the bus back to the marina.

Mgarr ix-Xini (Anchorage)

We dropped a stern anchor right next to the eastern wall, and then tied our bowline to a ring on the western wall.

We just stopped here for lunch before moving in to Mgarr marina.

Two massive temples built by Gozitans between 4,100 and 2,500 BC. The two temples are side by side.
