Abelaki Bay

There are many anchorages to choose from on Meganisi, but Abelaki is my choice. Good protection and holding.

It is a nice walk over the hill from here to Vathi for dinner, or one can eat at one of the tavernas in the bay.

Taverna Abelaki (Restaurant)

This great taverna is a home from home. They serve great food, and have a book exchange for yachts.

They also have a washing machine which I think was about €4 per load. You need to dry the laundry on the boat.

Walk over the hill to the little village for good restaurants, and a small market.
