A large marina at the foot of this great city. Many archaeological sites to visit.

I am told that the archaeological museum ( a little out of town) is not to be missed.

Next to the marina is Isaac Peral's Submarine built in 1888 described as the first U-boat.

Jayne and I did not not know about it when we visited Cartegena.
